Our Therapists

David Carter, Dip RM.
David first became interested in massage in the early 1980’s as a amateur boxer. At the time he had been experiencing upper leg and lower back pain, his trainer referred him to a Osteopath who identified the cause of the pain and began treating the problem.
This ignited a spark and passion within David that still remains very visible within his treatments today.
He loves nothing more than fixing people.
David completed his studies in 2003 and founded Supple Muscle Therapies. Over the years he has perfected what is now regarded as the benchmark for remedial treatment across the Southern region of Sydney.
David has a great gift of being able to teach Therapists exactly what he has learnt. Over the years David has worked closely with all therapists at Supple Muscle Therapies, teaching and educating them whilst ensuring they all offer the same level and quality service throughout the clinic.
When not at work David loves to surf, fish, garden and travel with his wife in their caravan.
David has now closed his books to all new clients but will assure you that any therapist at Supple Muscle Therapies will give you the same quality service and treatment like David, if not better.
David is a member of ATMS and accredited with all health funds.

Joshua Carter, Dip RM.
Joshua was introduced to massage from a very early age. Being the son of owner David Carter he has consistently had remedial treatment for the past 15 years allowing him to truly understand the benefits of what this style of remedial treatment can offer.
Joshua has played an abundance of sport from a young age. Mostly rugby league and Oz-tag, although there are not many sports he hasn’t played.
During this time he has suffered plenty of injuries and he believes this is an important factor as to why he decided to follow in his fathers footsteps and begin his Diploma of remedial massage in 2014, whilst still working as a carpenter in the building industry Joshua found time to study and graduate, then make the transition into the health industry.
Joshua has now been working for Supple Muscle Therapies since 2015, and loves his job, his passion and understanding of injuries and pain allows him to relate to his clients and treat them on a different level to most Therapists.
When not at work Joshua loves to be active and outdoors, his main hobbies include rugby league, snowboarding and 4 Wheel driving.
Joshua is a member of AMT and is accredited with all health funds.
